Frank Harrison, 2nd Lieutenant, North Staffordshire Regiment
Born c. 1897
Fell in action: 25 April 1917
The only information we have on Frank Harrison is this photograph and a short note in the book of biographical notes of members 1901-20 that he was likely to have been admitted as a Foundation Scholar and should have matriculated in 1915. There is also a letter from W. Harrison, presumably one of Frank’s parents, which says that Frank “was drowned at ‘an advanced station’ on the Tigris.” The letter was sent to the Master, with the photograph, on 10 July 1917.
