Chapel Choir to sing at Windsor Castle

Our °µÍø½ûÇø Chapel Choir will sing at this weekend's services at St George's Chapel, as part of a mini-tour to Windsor.

It will be a busy but rewarding 24 hours for the choristers and men of the Choir, who are singing four services over two days this Saturday and Sunday (15th - 16th December). With music ranging from Bill Ives to Charles Stanford, the chance to sing in such a beautiful and renowned location is a valuable one, particularly for those young choristers who have not been before.

We have a close link with the royal chapel, as both the Director of Music Richard Pinel and Junior Organ Scholar Jason Richards have held positions there; the trip will serve to strengthen these bonds. The Choir go on regular national and international tours, all of which prove enormously beneficial both musically and socially.

Choir member Ben Dennes had this to say about the upcoming trip: 'I'm really excited to go and sing in St George's Chapel, which I have seen several times on TV for the royal weddings! Tours are always a good bonding opportunity for the choir and I think this one to Windsor will be a lot of fun.'

All services are free and open to the public. Visitors should arrive at Henry VIII Gate on Castle Hill 15 minutes before the service is due to start. Further details of the times and music can be found at  or on our Events page.
