Make time for your mental health

This year’s Mental Health Awareness Week will take place from 9 to 15 May.

To mark the week, the University has curated a varied programme of talks and activities that aim to support colleagues with their mental health, under this year's theme of 'loneliness'.

The programme is accompanied by a range of online resources. It offers two one-hour wellbeing photography walks – on Monday 9 and Tuesday 10 with Lloyd Mann and Nick Safell who produced much of the photography and videos for the Benin Bronze restitution.

And on Wednesday May 11, our very own Tyler Shores, Senior Research Associate will discuss ‘Is social media making us lonely’? by exploring some of the research about social media, connection, loneliness as well as looking at some ways that we might be able to helpful reframe our relationship social media in our everyday lives.

You can view the full programme on the and book onto events.

Events are open to all staff (in both the academic University and colleges) and students.

If you do not have a Raven log-in you can book onto events by emailing equality@admin.cam.ac.uk
